Chiropractic Treatment

This is classically known as the neck and back “cracking” however, spinal manipulation is much more than that. The main purpose of manipulations or “adjustments” is to provide a stimulus to the joints of the spine. This improves the body’s awareness of that joint which results in more efficient muscle recruitment, stability of the joint and improved range of motion. Manipulations also provide a battery of sensory input into the nervous system, which suppresses pain signals from an inflamed joint.
